Celebrate hope and the resilience of the human spirit with cellist Efe Baltacıgil! This inspiring program features Emmy Award-winning composer Anthony DiLorenzo’s Anthem of Hope; Fazıl Say’s powerful Concerto for Cello and Orchestra, “Never Give Up”; and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 6, “Pathetique”—meaning passionate.

Efe Baltacıgil currently serves as the Principal Cello of the Seattle Symphony and performs as a soloist across the globe.

A Pre-Concert Lecture about the program will take place at 2:15PM in the Walton Theatre. Doors open at 2PM and seating is limited, so please plan accordingly. These lectures are free for ticket-holders.
