Mozart | Sinfonia Concertante
Bacewicz | Overture for Orchestra
Respighi | Pines of Rome
We close our 47th season with our Concertmaster Dawn Posey and Amber Archibald-Sešek as soloists, three signature pieces transporting us to other times and places, and tremendous gratitude for the community support that has allowed us to continue bringing people together through the transformative power of music.
“With its clear form consisting of short, contrasting segments, the [Bacewicz] Overture packs the power of a larger symphonic work into a compact six minutes.” - Linda Shaver-Gleason for the LA Philharmonic
Dr. Ryan Dudenbostel’s engaging and informative Pre-Concert Lecture will take place at 2:15PM in the Walton Theatre. Doors open at 2:00PM and seating is limited, so please plan accordingly.
