3 Track Mind

3 Track Mind features Jen Todd, Kevin Jones, and Kristy Smith, with Steve Smith on percussion. Known for their prolific songwriting, each artist has multiple solo releases and has collaborated with other bands. The group incorporates a variety of instruments, including acoustic and electric guitars, mandolin, ukulele, and slide guitar. Each member takes turns singing lead, while the others add outstanding harmonies. 

After nearly 30 years, 3 Track Mind has reunited and performed a series of sold-out shows. The performances feature original songs from their two CDs along with a selection from their solo careers. During their active years they played numerous shows, opening for artists such as John Hiatt, Joan Baez, and Rosanne Cash. 

92.9 FM, an independent rock station in Bellingham, has been a strong supporter of the band, helping to sell out The Mount Baker Theatre for their first release, Mighty Big Therapy. They have also appeared on King 5 Television and in the Miramax film Georgia, where they served as Mare Winningham’s touring band. Additionally, their songs have been featured in various television and film documentaries.
