The Bellingham Symphony Orchestra kicks off its 49th Season with Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto, a lush, romantic piece — and widely considered one of the best-known violin concertos. Next, Jessie Montgomery’s Banner, is a rhapsody on the theme of The Star Spangled Banner. Finally, Stravinsky’s Suite from the Firebird is a ballet and orchestral concert work and was used in Fantasia 2000.
