A John Prine Christmas with Jenner Fox Band

In 1994, Prine released his 11th LP titled, A John Prine Christmas. The critics didn’t praise it, but with titles such as “Silent Night All Day Long” and “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus”, Prine is still brining Christmas home with his lovely wry best, bringing Christmas home.

A John Prine Christmas will include a night of your favorite songs featuring folk troubadour and Prine scholar, Jenner Fox, with his all-star band. The evening will weave together Prine’s classic hits, his holiday themed songs, stories, and will include a chance to sing along. Come prepared to laugh, cry, and ho-ho-ho your way through celebrating a true American legend.

Jenner Fox Band:
Made up of members from Pacific Northwest groups Polecat, Petty or Not, and Skillethead, the Jenner Fox Band first assembled for a 240-mile cargo bicycle tour across Northern California in 2021. They shared a sensibility for deep listening, three-part harmonies, John Prine, and flat tires. Americana UK calls their most recent LP, “Evocative and revelatory…reminiscent of children’s books much loved by adults.” This band is not one to be missed.
